What is Local Proud?
Local Proud is a buy local and support local business discount card program designed to help vitalize the local economy. Area merchants offer discounts that are honored when consumers show their free Local Proud Perks card. You invite businesses to be a part of this "co-op type" program for a small monthly fee. They get to determine their offers and are able to change them anytime via a convenient web interface. No special equipment is required for you, the businesses or their customers.
Local Proud Perks is essentially a coupon program without the coupons, so it promotes the "Go Green" movement while promoting and instilling community support. And with the economy still struggling to get back to normal, this is the perfect time to offer this to your clients and your listeners.
Through this unique program, you are able to offer traditional and internet marketing to your clients. There is also sponsorship space on the back of the Perks cards that will be distributed to the public. This allows businesses that do not traditionally use discounts or coupons to be a part of the program. They get great exposure by being on the back of thousands of consumer cards that are used on a daily basis. Plus, it is a great way to increase your revenue potential.
How The Program Works
Businesses sign on to the program at a monthly cost determined by you. Once a good number of offers in an area are in place, Perks Cards will be distributed to consumers. The businesses themselves are the main source of this distribution, handing them out with receipts, a display at their point-of-sale, etc. There may be other opportunities for distribution through local events or other media partnerships.
Businesses are not charged for Perks cards. You will be able to sell sponsorship on the cards as an additional source of revenue. You will also provide each participating business with marketing materials that are supplied by us (to you).
It is completely up to you how you sell the program and how much you charge your sponsors and advertisers. We only charge you low, flat fees - leaving the rest for your profit.

Consumer Website - We build and maintain your consumer website and take care of the hosting. The website features all the offers in their area. We've built in sharing features that allow visitors to post offers to social media sites, send to their cell phone or email to a friend. We can even provide an rss feed so the data can easily be implemented into your website.
Advertiser Website - In order to educate local businesses about the program, we will set up a special website for you to direct them to. It is packed full of information including a two-minute video as well as a form that is used as a lead generator.
Account Executive Information & Training Guide - A sales manual breaks down the program so AE’s completely understand how it works and how to sell it.
Merchant Supplies - You do not have to worry about trying to get vendors for all the supplies needed to run the program. We have taken care of all the designing and research involved with each product and offer it to you at the very best prices. Some of the supplies include window decals (or clings), counter tents, business cards, Perks Cards, and card holders.
Informational Website - To make it a little easier to educate potential advertisers about the Local Proud program, we'll create a (separate) website customized for your station.
TV Commercials - Rev Up is a full production house with motion graphics and video capabilities. Available to you are customized television commercials to promote the program and the advertisers involved if you have a media partnership with a television station.
Full Support - We provide support on all levels via telephone and email. This is our livelihood, so you can expect quick response to any questions or issues that should arise.
